🎉 A Note from our New Rector: The Rev. Suzanne M. Coles 

Greetings Christ Church! I am honored and thrilled to be called as your next Rector! I am coming to you from the Episcopal Diocese of Long Island, where I have served as Priest-in-Charge of St. Philip’s Church, Dyker Heights, and as Canon for Stewardship on the
Bishop’s staff. Previously, I served parishes in Connecticut and Massachusetts. I am passionate about community outreach and parish development, and I am looking forward to
growing together in ministry.

I am married to Mr. Ronald R. Coles, an educator and church musician with clergy family roots in the Salvation Army. He currently serves as Assistant Principal for the Philadelphia
Virtual Academy, and as Music Director at Maternity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church, also in Philadelphia. We have one young son, Ronnie, who loves running, dancing, and ice cream. We are looking forward to filling the rectory with family joy and laughter.

In addition to the beautiful Church, I have been drawn to your outreach ministries and warm community. I believe that together we can serve God’s people well, grow in faith and impact, and have a lot of fun! I will be with you for  Christmas and can’t wait to join you in praise and adoration.
