Reaching beyond the walls of the
church to spread the light of Christ
to others.
"Now who will harm you if you are eager to do what is good? But even if you do suffer for doing what is right, you are blessed. Do not fear what they fear, and do not be intimidated, but in your hearts sanctify Christ as Lord." 1 Peter 3:13-15
Your unwanted eye wear may dramatically improve someon's life. Your used glasses may provide an adult with the clear vision necessary to maintain employment or give a child the chance to stay in school.
Inside the Tower entrance of the church, the main entrance on Main street, is a box for used eye glasses. These glasses are given to the local Lions Club.
Any Sunday, all are invited to bring non-perishable food items to the church. There is a basket in the Tower entrance for the donations. The items are distributed county-wide to those in need.
Items in high demand include: dry milk, baby formula, ceral, peanut butter, pasta, canned meats, etc.
Do you have extra winter clothes around that you do not wear?
Donations can be gently used or new. Our brothers and sisters in Camden are in need. Even lighter weight clothing can be helpful too. Blankets are also in need. There is a donation box in the Parish Hall by the office, near the fourth street entrance. No sure what to donate: coats, jackets, sweaters, sweat shirts, jeans, sweatpants, leggings, scarves, hats, gloves, and blankets. Socks are always in high demand, but must be new in package.
Donations will be delivered and distributed in Camden, NJ.
